An optional tour to Shenzhen, China’s biggest hotbeds of performing arts culture in the Greater Bay Area, provides another great opportunity for HKPAX participants to explore cultural exchange. We visit Shenzhen and guests are welcome to proceed back to Hong Kong for the opening programme of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Culture and Arts Festival on 19 October 2024. All transportation, accommodation and scheduling will be arranged. 

HKPAX will appoint a travel agency to accommodate participants. Foreign visitors who wish to apply for a 144-hour Convenient Visa must be the ordinary passport holders of nations with diplomatic relations with China. They are required to join guided tours organised by a registered Hong Kong travel agent to Guangdong cities after arriving in Hong Kong. Successful tour group applicants are able to stay at Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Zhaoqing, Huizhou and Shantou for a maximum of 144 hours.Travelers from countries not included in the list of countries eligible for the 144-hour visa-free policy need to arrange their visas independently.
