Asian Cultural Council Welcomes Applications for 2026 Fellowships



Accepting applications from October 1 – November 19, 2025

The Asian Cultural Council (ACC) welcomes applications for 2026 Fellowships from 21:59 (HKT) of October 1, 2025 to 22:59 (HKT) of November 19, 2025.

During the Fellowships, ACC Grantees pursue a diverse range of activities: from targeted research to open-ended cultural exploration in the U.S. and 25 other eligible territories in Asia. Except for a one-page report, no artwork or specific outcomes are expected from Fellows. (The Grants cannot be used for production, exhibition-making or fabrication.)

Fellows are encouraged to engage in process-driven work that facilitates cultural immersion, relationship-building, and collaboration among peers. Fellowship activities and travel must begin and end within the grant period: from August 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027.

ACC Hong Kong Anniversary Fellowships – Cultural Exchange Grants to Hong Kong
up to USD35,000 (proportionate to proposal)

To celebrate its milestone 40th anniversary in 2026, ACC Hong Kong invites applications for special fully funded one-to-six-month ACC Hong Kong Anniversary Fellowships, opportunities for research or training in all 16 ACC disciplines (architecture, visual art, performing arts, museum studies, musicology, curation, crafts, etc.). Fellows will be based in Hong Kong, with the option to include visits to Macau and/or Mainland China.
