Classical:NEXT, the leading global event dedicated to classical and art music is calling professionals from all sectors to submit their programme proposals for its 2026 edition in Budapest, Hungary.

Classical:NEXT is the hub for classical and art music innovators, where ideas are born, projects launched, and the genre’s future takes shape. It brings together the international community for an inspiring programme featuring an interactive Conference, Project Pitches, Showcase concerts, Film Showcases, an Expo, the Innovation Award and countless networking opportunities. For its 2026 edition in Budapest (8–11 April 2026), it is looking for bold ideas, visions and music: whether it’s early or contemporary, traditional or experimental, live or recorded, educational, artistic or focussing on business, what matters is that it’s heading NEXT.

The programme comes from music professionals from all sectors: artists, managers, presenters, orchestras, labels, educators, press, media, filmmakers, tech innovators, publishers and more.

Classical:NEXT is open to everyone: if you are pushing the boundaries of the global art and classical music scene, you are invited to submit your proposal for a conference session, project pitch or showcase.

To ensure quality and to enable a fair and balanced selection process, proposals will be reviewed by a different, diverse jury of international experts each year.

Classical music professionals can submit programme proposals for the 2026 edition of Classical:NEXT in Budapest in the following categories:

• Showcase concerts
• Club showcase concerts
• Conference sessions
• Project pitches
• Film showcases
